Aso Hotel Arden is only a 30-minute drive from Kumamoto Airport. Aso Farmland is a 5 minute drive and petting zoo Cuddly Dominion is 15 minutes by car. Mount Aso-Nakadake is a 20-minute drive.

Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding, while Western rooms have carpeting and beds, as well as a Japanese-style area with traditional futon bedding. All rooms come with an LCD TV, a fridge and an attached bathroom.

There is no restaurant, and meals are not offered.
